Recipe: 5 Ingredient Lemon Tahini Sauce (a.k.a. the best sauce ever)

A.K.A. the best sauce you’ve ever had

This is the most delicious and creamy sauce ever! It’s pretty much the main reason I enjoying eating vegetables so often. It’s perfect drizzled on any type of veggie/grain bowl, salad, as a dip for yam fries, or drizzled into something like a pita or wrap.

Ingredients

– 1/3 cup tahini
– Juice from 1/2 a fresh lemon (approx. 1 Tbsp.)
– 1 Tbsp. maple syrup (could sub for raw honey)
– 1/8 tsp. sea salt (plus more to taste)
– 4 Tbsp. water (plus more to thin further depending on the consistency of your tahini)

Instructions

– Place all ingredients in to a jar and mix until super smooth and creamy. I like to pop the lid on and give it a good shake
– Taste test and adjust to your liking. If it’s too thick add more water at 1/2 Tbsp. increments. Feel free to add any more of the listed ingredients depending on your preferences – I typically add a pinch or 2 extra of salt.
– Top on a nourish bowl or anything you desire!
