These are such a delicious treat to have on hand! They’re so simple to make and made with so many whole food ingredients. I especially love this take on an “oatmeal crumble bar” as I topped them with Nature’s Path Golden Turmeric Granola. It gives them a slight crunch while being loaded with the mother of all anti-inflammatory foods, turmeric!

Ingredients
Base:
– 1 cup almonds
– 1/2 cup sunflower seeds
– 1 cup oats
– 1 cup medjool dates (make sure they are nice and soft!)
– 1 Tbsp. coconut oil
Middle:
– 1.5 cups frozen blackberries
– 2 Tbsp. chia Seeds
Top:
– 1 cup Nature’s Path Golden Turmeric Superfood Granola
Instructions
– Start by placing your blackberries and chia seeds in a pan on the stove top, on medium heat, bringing the mixture to a light simmer for 10 minutes. Be sure to stir frequently
– When your blackberries and chia seeds have finished simmering, remove from heat and place in the fridge to allow to “firm” for 15 or so minutes
– Pre-heat your oven to 350F convection
– In the mean time, make your base layer by placing all ingredients (starting with the almonds) into a food processor until everything is very well combined and almost resembles a paste-like consistency
– Once you have finished food processing, press base layer into a loaf pan (9×5) and place it in the oven for 9 minutes
– Once your base layer has finished in the oven, allow to cool for 10 minutes. Then pour the blackberry chia mixture on top, followed by the Nature’s Path Granola
– Place in the freezer for 30 minutes to allow to set
– Then remove from freezer, cut into square pieces and store in the fridge until you’re ready to eat
– ENJOY!
