These bliss balls are the ultimate healthy fall treat. They’re loaded with tons of anti-inflammatory ingredients and are free of refined sugars, oil, gluten, and dairy. They taste amazing with a warm cup of tea or hot cocoa! They are a perfect way to include Turmeric (the anti-inflammatory “super spice”) into your diet in a fun and delicious way!

Ingredients
– 1/2 cup walnuts
– 1/4 cup pumpkin seeds
– 1/4 cup sunflower seeds
– 1/4 cup coconut flakes
– 1/2 cup oats
– 1 and a 1/2 cups medjool dates, de-pitted (or a date variety you know is super soft)
– 1/2 tsp true cinnamon
– 1/2 tsp turmeric
– 1/4 tsp cardamom
– 1/4 tsp nutmeg
Instructions
– Place nuts and seeds in a food processor or Vitamix and blend until you reach a flour like consistency
– Next add the coconut flakes and oats. Continue blending until you reach a flour like consistency again
– Then add the spices and de-pitted dates. Blend until everything is well incorporated. – Taste test to ensure the spice level is right. If you like it a touch spicier don’t be afraid to add a pinch more of everything
– Roll into balls and sprinkle with additional spices and a drizzle with a nut/ seed butter of choice. I like to use almond butter
– Store in the fridge for 5 days or freezer for any longer
NOTE: the type of dates you use in this recipe will vary the consistency a lot! If your dates are on the firmer side try soaking them in warm water first. If you find your mixture is too dry add more dates and/or 1 Tbsp. of coconut oil or a nut/seed butter to moisten things up.
